I’ve been slightly MIA from blogging recently for a few
reasons:
1) I’ve
been so busy with my freelance stuff that I’ve hardly had time to do
anything. Plus, it’s been so hot here, I’ve
literally been living in denim cut offs and vest, so nothing post worthy!! This blogs about me, so I make sure that I
only blog what I actually wear, I don’t think it’s right to do shoots of cool
outfits if I’ve not worn them, and I’m sure no one wants to see endless pics of
me in variations of the same outfit!
2) I’ve
been hugely uninspired by fashion lately.
I’m finding my wardrobe boring, but am trying not to spend too much, as
it seems pointless buying summer clothes when I’ll be back in the UK in
February.
However, all that changed with an act of kindness from my
gorgeous husband who surprised me with a gorgeous orange leather jacket that he
thought I’d love, and now I can’t wait to wear it loads so have been outfit
planning, so I’m sure it will be featured in a post soon!
Anyway, normal business is resumed! I’m a huge fan of live music, so when I was
given some free tickets to the Cape Town Music Festival this weekend, I knew I
had to go. I’ve had this dress for a few
years now, and I still love it as much as when I bought it, which is very rare
for me, as I normally wear things a few times then go off them. I love the fringing, and its also super flattering, and I can breathe out all day and not worry, lol! Anyway, adding a headband and fringed bag
seemed quite fitting for a music festival, with my husband calling it my Navaho
hippy look!! Well, I like it anyway.
