MY:LOOK Wherever I Lay My Hat

The summer has certainly started in Cape Town, so much so, that after a week of my Father In Law visiting and being in the sun constantly, my bottom lip has burnt and blistered........ Its agony!!  But, on a fashion front, its a good excuse for me to wear hats, as not only do I love wearing them anyway, but they protect my face from the sun, double whammy!!

I wanted a simple outfit to wear for running errands yesterday, and this loose top from Forever 21 was perfect.  Teamed with my trilby and an armful of bangles, it ended up looking quite good if I do say so myself!  Anyone who reads my blog, knows I love wearing lots of bracelets, and I think this stack works really well as the shapes, sizes and colours all mix really well.  

However, I must say, I changed as soon as I got home, as I'd totally misjudged the heat and was BOILING!!  O well, can't complain, especially as my friends in the UK say winter has really set in.  We leave here to move back to Manchester as the end of January, and I'm not sure how I'm going to cope with going from the hight of summer, to the depths of a UK winter!!  I'm trying not to think about it, as I'd love to stay here for longer, but it's been an amazing adventure, and we're determined to make the most of every second of the last few months we have here.
