MY:LOOK Dressed down denim and leopard

Last night we were due to go to a work event then pick our friends up from the airport at 8.30, but we found out they were delayed until 11.05 so we decided to chill and go out for a bite to eat, so we could be awake when they arrived and have a drink and catch up with them.  Anyway, this is what I wore.  It was last minute, so thrown on casual, and in no shape or form fitting with my style challenge, but sometimes (and only sometimes in my case) function has to win over fashion!

I’ve been searching for a good pair of jeans for ages after my fave For All Mankind ones split, and was really struggling as I didn’t want to spend that much again, or go through the horrendousness that is trying on jeans.  Anyway, I found these in Asda of all places (for my non UK readers, that’s a supermarket owned by Wallmart in the UK), and they cost only £14!  They are honestly the best fitting jeans I’ve ever owned, and have already got my father-in-law to buy me the 3 other colours, for when he visits next month!
