London Fashion Week SS13

Watching the New York shows at Fashion Week left me pretty uninspired.  I’m a huge fan of Proenza Schouler so thought their show was amazing (but then again I think these boys can do no wrong), and loved Oscar de la Renta and Rodarte, but all the other shows left me a bit flat, although I was slightly impressed by Victoria Beckham.  That’s why I can’t wait to watch the London Fashion Week shows.  Yes, I’m a proud Brit, but to me LFW is always the highlight of the season, as I think London is such an amazing place for fashion, and the street style is often as good (sometimes better) as the shows themselves.  I’ve been to LFW quite a few times for work, and love the vibe, so will definitely be watching the screenings from the laptop in Cape Town.  Today, some of my favourite designers, PPQ and Felder Felder, are showing so I can’t wait to see what they put down the catwalk.  PPQ was my stand out show of last season, so they have a lot to live up to, but I’m excited to see what I’ll be coveting for SS 2013, and I’m almost certain I’ll be writing about it on here!
