MY:VIEW Look of the Week - Kate Middleton

In keeping with my Olympic themed post from Friday, my look of the week goes to Kate Middleton, at the Olympics last week.  As a Brit, I love how Kate and William seem so normal, despite being the future King and Queen of England, and their impromptu hug at the velodrome whilst watching Team GB win (another) gold, made me love them more!

Although she made this look a bit “Sloane Ranger” by adding a scarf later, the individual elements here look great, and really modern.  The Smythe blazer would look great with anything, the J Brand jeans fit like a glove (she’s already been seen in red and electric blue one previously), everyone loves a Breton stripe top and the Stuart Weitzman wedges may well become her staple shoe, like her nude LK Bennetts.  She’s thrown herself into supporting Team GB as one of their Ambassador’s along with Princes William and Harry, and has always worn red, white and blue, or Team GB official clothing.  Kate Middleton, I salute you, you may just be Team GB’s lucky charm!!  Plus, anyone who is in her position, and things nothing of recycling outfits, and even borrowing things from her mum or sister, is a winner in my book!

This weekend was a busy one, but I also feel like I did nothing!  Yesterday we went to an amazing vineyard, and had wine tasting and cheese fondue whilst listening to live jazz.  It was great, but I dread to think how many calories were in the fondue!!  My camera has broken, but I have some Iphone pics so may do an outfit post …….. if I do not look too sozzled!!
