I love Nicole Richie’s style. I’m the total opposite of her boho style, but
I love the way she puts outfits together.
I’m a huge fan of her House of Harlow 1960 jewellery range, especially
the headpieces. So, I was excited to see
the sketches from her line which will be launched online and in store at Macy’s
from mid-September, under the (terrible) title of The Nicole Richie for Impulse
Only At Macy's.
The collection looks similar to Winter Kate, using
the same boho style and peacock print, but the main difference is the price
point, with pieces starting from just $49 and the most expensive item being
just $149. I will definitely be putting
a note in my diary to keep checking the Macy’s website!
On a less frivolous note than fashion, I’ve spent the last 2 days with one of the most inspirational people I’ve ever met. Charles Batte won a global entrepreneaurship competition, after using his savings from a part time job, to set up a self-sufficient farm and a health centre in his community in Uganda, to try to empower his people, all this and he is only 24! His story made me think, so much so that we’ve decided to do 2 weeks volunteer work at an African Impact project before we head back to the UK. Read his story here, it won’t dissapoint!
Ooh these sketches look like they are set to impress! Not going to lie...not Nicole Richie's biggest fan but I can't deny the girl dresses well!
