MY:View Essence Nail Colours

When we moved to Cape Town, I only brought 3 nail varnishes (red, purple and hot pink) as I was so conscious about weight, and would rather have had the space for clothes! I'm a real fan of Models Own at home, but you can't buy that here so I've been trying to find cool colours in alternative brands, but keep it as cheap as possible.

I came across Essence in the chemists and was lured by their vast array of colours, then by their cheap price! All varnishes are R20, which is about £1.60, so it’s a bargain. I always worry about quality when I buy cheap products but was so impressed. The pics here are all only 1 coat, and the colour is really strong and the polish thick. Plus it goes on really easily. I’d say this is probably an equivalent of Collection 2000 or something similar. I chose these colours as thought they’d really brighten up an outfit, they're bright without being to lairy, plus they cheered me up on a rainy day!  See the full colour palette here.

I’ve got a day off from work, so have another personal training session, which should be fun as my body feels totally dead, not looking forward to it at all!  But, on a much brighter note, the Topshop shop up store opens here in Cape Town today (read about it here), so I’m looking forward to hitting it hard on Saturday, as I’ve soooo missed Topshop!
