This outfit
is actually what I wore on Saturday day, but I spent yesterday being beyond
lazy so I didn’t upload them! We had such plans for Saturday: visit District 6
museum in the morning, meet some friends for lunch, visit the new Topshop pop
up store, then go to a Bastille Day event in the evening whereas instead we ended up at a boring canon
museum cos District 6 was closed, and the lunch ended up being a 3 ½ hour
gossip session, involving lots of wine, the visit to Topshop evaporated and the
event in the evening seemed to last about an hour when we were in fact out for
6! It feels like Monday has rolled around so quickly, like I’ve lost a weekend. I even forgot to take outfit pics of my
Saturday night outfit, as the day was such a rush! Moral of the story, try not to pack so much
into the day and don’t drink wine at lunch time!!
I’m living in these Love trousers at the moment, they’re just so comfy and a great alternative to jeans or leggings. As we were going out to lunch, I dressed them up with this blouse, which again is the comfiest thing in the world and looks great worn with anything, definitely a great purchase before I came to Cape Town as I’ve worn it so many ways: over a bikini, with leggings and flats, like this, and then with leather leggings for an evening look.
The weathers terrible again in Cape Town, it’s like being back in Manchester!! I can’t wait for the summer months, and all the visitors we’re having. Maybe then I’ll have something interesting to post as no one wants to see what I’m wearing when its leggings and big jumpers constantly!!
