Kate Moss Mural Oxford Street

Kate Moss is my ultimate style crush.  I know it’s not original, but I love her “rock chick” style, and she’s probably nearest to my nighttime look (think lots of black clothes and eyeliner!).  I also love the famous Andy Warhol Marilyn Monroe pop art painting, so much so I have a huge canvas of it at my house in the UK.  So, I squealed with excitement when I saw this mural, done by the French street artist Mr Brainwash (read more about him here) to promote his debut London exhibition.  It’s on Oxford Street in London, so I’m praying that it’s still there at the end of August when I’ll be in London.  I’m dying to see this just as much I am to hit Topshop!!

After a few gorgeous days in Cape Town, it’s raining again, which means probably having to rethink my weekend wardrobe.  We’re going to watching Man United’s pre season tour (luckily I’m a football as well as fashion fan!) and then going for dinner and drinks.  I was thinking jeans and a blazer, but in this weather, in an open air stadium, I’ll look like a drowned rat!  This is where the fact that I didn’t bring sensible bad weather attire to Cape Town turns into a nightmare!!
