As I
mentioned in a previous post, (click here to read) I love black and white images, and would happily
transgress back to a black and white world where everything looks just more
gorgeous! That’s why I love these Dior Autumn Winter images with Mila
Kunis. She looks like Jackie O in this
campaign which gives it an even more nostalgic, old Hollywood theme.
But with Mario Sorrenti as the photographer and former Editor-in-chief of Vogue, Carine Roitfeld styling, the campaign was always going to look good! Although, as images, I don’t think they hold a candle to the Burberry
campaign, they are beautiful.
I like Mila
Kunis as she always looks like a ‘normal’ girl, even though she’s astonishingly
beautiful!! Even at a premier she always
seems to have an ‘obtainable’ look; that’s
why I love what she wore to Comic Con.
Everyone has jeans, a black vest and a blazer in their wardrobe, which means you don’t need to have the face of Mila Kunis to look like her!
Today’s
Mandela day in South Africa so I’ve given up my time at work to make sandwiches
which will go to local projects. Not
only did it make me feel good to do something for those less fortunate than
myself, it also made me think about what I’m wanting to do when I go back to
the UK in February. As well as having to
get a ‘real job’ I’ve also come up with some (hopefully) good ideas to get my
personal styling business back up and running, with a few add ons thrown
in! I’m loving living in Cape Town, but
if I can pull these ideas off, I’m looking forward to being in Manchester
again!
